This is the one question all who live along the Gulf of Mexico are asking.
It is so heartbreaking to even think about our beautiful beaches being tarnished with oil. Summer is here and most of us are thinking of lazy days of sun and sand, fishing, scalloping, etc…But to now be faced with the possibility that these favorite summertime activities may be taken away brings tears to my eyes. And there is even more heartache for those who earn their living on the water.
According to NOAA, oil could very easily reach the beaches of Pensacola within the next 72hrs. A forecast of their map can be seen here.
