Sweet Serenity
When there are days that just seem so hectic and filled with chaos, there is nothing better than putting your toes in the sand and taking a peaceful stroll at the water’s edge.

Weekly Photo Favs
There is so much going on right now that I am not even going to try to keep up with a 365…er 366 thanks to leap year…for 2012. So I am going to do a weekly post of my favorite photos for each week. With school, work, and a few other things going on, this is
definitely my best option :)
And this post is a little pic heavy! These photos were taken when Tracy, my mom, and I went out for one last camera adventure before Tracy left for the Frozen Tundra.
Tiny raccoon paws in the sand!
Shells along the shoreline.
Beautiful evening light...it doesn’t get any better than this!
Jellyfish…watch your step!
Sand Dollar Remains
Cape San Blas Sunset…the first sunset of the New Year!
Bubbles and Shells
Not sure what it is about this one…but I just like it :)
And finally…Miss Megan! I cannot believe that she will be graduating in just a few months!!

Angry Waters
Last weekend the beaches were quite angry due to the tropical system that affected the Gulf Coast. And naturally the camera bug in me had to go check it out! I, however, was one of the smart ones that knew better than to venture into the water. Others there were not quite as gifted and were actually out in the waves!
And I even came out from behind the camera for a very brief moment!

Evening Walks
I love to take evening walks along the beach. It’s so nice to breath fresh air and feel the sand between my toes. You never know what you might see or find!
This little guy wasn’t too sure he liked me or my camera! We did a little crab tango before he decided that I wasn’t a threat and let me take his picture!!!

Dear Tourists
If you see this…
it means that it would be in your best interest to stay out of the water unless you are a skilled swimmer. Otherwise, you may find yourself in this situation…
having to be rescued by a lifeguard.
On this particular day, T.S. Don was approaching Texas and had our waters kicked up pretty strong. The waves were amazing, but the undercurrent was extremely strong! Many don’t realize the dangers of swimming in these strong undercurrents and find themselves in trouble. I am thankful that this situation had a happy ending, but unfortunately many do not. So if you are visiting the beaches, please be sure to know what the water conditions are before you head into the water!
Ok…I will get off my PSA soapbox now :)

Miss Libby
A few weeks ago I met up with a friend at Windmark Beach. And I couldn’t resist getting a few shots of her girls! Here are a few of Miss Libby. She is such a sweetie too!
